Use Powerful Positive Affirmations

Here Are 5 Hot Tips to Help You Manifest What You Want More Effectively When Using Positive Affirmations

Adrian WebbWhen you communicate with your subconscious mind using positive affirmations, your mind treats these affirmations as reality.

When your affirmations about what you want are repeated constantly, the subconscious mind is being reprogrammed to help you manifest those things.

Your subconscious mind then works away in the background, day and night, to help create the reality you desire. Your subconscious mind works closely with your superconscious mind, which is one with the Divine, to attract the people, events, circumstances and opportunities that will help you manifest what you want.

You can speed up this manifesting process by combining your use of positive affirmations with other strategies that add greater energy and effectiveness to the reprogramming of your subconscious mind.

The powerful strategies below should become part of a daily routine if you want them to help you achieve results faster and more effectively when using positive affirmations.

These strategies all work, but YOU have to do the real work by implementing them into your life on a regular basis.  They have to become habitual ways of behaving.

1. Meditation

Meditation is a powerful method of communication with your subconscious mind because you are able to bypass the conscious mind and all its distractions.

The ideal conditions for effective meditation is a quiet, peaceful environment allowing you to relax without interference, and thereby communicate directly with your subconscious mind.

Proper meditation results in a change in the frequency of your brainwaves, taking you into a different state of mind, from Beta (fully conscious and concentrating), through to Alpha (relaxed), through to Theta (drowsy or lightly sleeping), and finally into Delta (deep sleep).

When you integrate your affirmations with meditation, you experience positive change much faster. The best time to practise this technique is just before you go to sleep.

Just before you go to sleep you are drifting from Alpha state into Theta state, and because you are not so conscious now, you drop your guard which allows your positive affirmations to bypass the keeper at the gate (your conscious mind) and enter your subconscious mind.

By repeating your affirmations over and over again just before you fall asleep, these are the last things your subconscious mind hears before you enter the Delta state of deep sleep.

But the subconscious mind never sleeps, so it gets to work and works throughout the night working out how to help you create the reality of what you desire.

2. Visualization With Emotion

Another technique to help strengthen your affirmations is to combine a visual image with each affirmation. If you can visualize each affirmation as though it is your current reality, you will increase the effectiveness of your positive affirmations.

This is because the subconscious mind responds much more strongly to pictures because they create a greater impact. The mind has been designed to respond in a very positive way to images.

When you feel the appropriate emotions while you visualize the reality of what you desire, and while you repeat your positive affirmations, you turbo-boost the effectivness of this powerful strategy.

It’s the repetitiveness of daily visualization with the associated emotions that works. Words, in the form of affirmations, on their own, don’t work, unless you give them real power and meaning, by adding images and emotion to strengthen their impact.  All these things together will shift your energetic vibration, which is what actually activates the Law of Attraction to work in your favour.

Mind Movies are a great tool to help you visualize with real emotion.

3. Writing Down What You Want

It has been estimated that around 40% of the information stored in your mind is visual. In other words, what you see, and, therefore, what your brain absorbs through the sense of sight, is more likely to be remembered and understood by your mind, thus having a greater impact on your subconscious mind.

When you write down your affirmations and leave them around your home and/or office where you can see them easily and regularly, you are constantly reinforcing them and reminding your subconscious mind what you desire to become reality.

4. Be Specific and Clear About What You Want

You want to be as clear and detailed as possible when composing all your affirmations. Your subconscious mind needs to know exactly what you want to achieve. The more precise your affirmations, the better.

Limit this detailed description to the outcome of your specific objective, goal or desire. Do NOT try and describe the process by which you will achieve what you want. It is not your job to work out the who, how and when of the process.

Just let go and trust in the Divine to guide you. The details will become clear to you when the time is right. If you try and work it all out for yourself you are just getting in the way and cancelling out the creative power of the Divine.

The whole point of letting go of the process of manifestation is that you are using positive affirmations along with visualization and emotion to reprogram your subconscious mind so it can then guide you through your intuition.

Now you need to remain awake, so you become aware of any guidance you receive from your subconscious mind. It will come to you as intuition, a gut feeling, inspiration, an idea out of the blue, a eureka moment. When you realize what it is, you need to act on it.

Then you can take inspired action, and that’s when magic happens!

5. Use Positive, Descriptive Words

You should always use the present tense in your positive affirmations because the subconscious mind knows only the present. Also, you are benefiting from the power of ‘now’ which adds urgency to the subconscious mind’s work on helping you create this as your reality.

Use the words “I am” or “I have” which are very powerful.

Use positive words in your affirmations, because your subconscious mind cannot process negative words.

The subconscious mind understands “I want no more debt” to mean “I want more debt”, so be careful!

Always use the strongest, most positive words and phrases you can, such as “will” rather than “might”. Also, include descriptive words wherever possible to increase the emotional connection you are making with the end result you want to manifest.

Your Positive Thoughts Must be Consistent With Your Belief System

Positive thinking is a creative throught that comes from your conscious mind, but, remember, you are competing with the programs in your subconscious mind, which is running the show.

It’s no good repeating to yourself the positive affirmation, “I am wealthy” when you believe deep down in your subconscious mind that you will always remain poor. Your subconscious mind is running the show, it is infinitely more powerful than your conscious mind. Your subconscious beliefs will crunch your conscious intentions when there is a conflict between them.

You have to reprogram your subconscious mind with empowering beliefs so that they reinforce your positive affirmations. When your subconscious beliefs support your positive affirmations, when they are all in alignment, or in harmony, and you take inspired action, that’s when you start to manifest what you want in your life.

Unless the subconscious mind has empowering programs and is in agreement with the conscious mind, the power of positive thinking and positive affirmations cannot work.

An Empowering Mind Movie, Including powerful affirmations, to Watch Each Morning

Here is a Mind Movie I created myself using the special Mind Movies program.

Watching something like this each morning can be empowering, because it sets you up to have a great day in terms of how you connect with other people throughout the day, and also how you connect with the Divine, God, universal creative mind, source energy, or whatever you call that incredible creative intelligence that creates and sustains life. It helps you create balance in your life, and remain calm and well-centred.

I also watch other Mind Movies I have created, which are more personal, and specific, to what I want to achieve and manifest.
