The Secret Has Been Known for Centuries, But Only by a Few Privileged People
What is the Law of Attraction?
‘The Secret’ has been understood by some of the most prominent people in history: Plato, Galileo, Beethoven, Edison, Carnegie, Einstein, along with other inventors, theologians, scientists, and great thinkers. They shared it in their writings and teachings, their music, and their poetry. Great religions, such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, all delivered it through their writings and stories.
In 2006, The Secret was catapulted into the public’s awareness with the publication of “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne, along with the accompanying DVD.
People throughout the world are now becoming very aware of “The Secret”, and I have now made it my life’s work to help spread a knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the Law of Attraction.
In the words of Bob Proctor, philosopher, author and personal coach, who appears in The Secret DVD (and I believe he was quoting someone else):
“We all work with one infinite power. We all guide ourselves by exactly the same laws. The natural laws of the universe are so precise that we don’t even have any difficulty building spaceships, we can send people to the moon, and we can time the landing with the precision of a fraction of a second.
Wherever we are in the world, we’re all working with one power, one Law. It’s Attraction! The Law of Attraction!”
The Secret is the Law of Attraction
Everything that is coming into your life you are attracting into your life. It’s attracted to you by virtue of the images you’re holding in your mind. It’s what you’re thinking. Whatever is going on in your mind you are attracting into your life.
The greatest teachers who ever lived have told us that the Law of Attraction is the most powerful law in the universe. The law began at the beginning of time. It has always been, and always will be.
The Law of Attraction is based on the concept that you attract what you are resonating with at an energetic level, in other words, what you are in alignment with, or in harmony with. So you attract people, circumstances, events, resources, and ideas, that resonate with what you are thinking.
You are, in effect, acting like a magnet. There is a magnetic power within you that is incredibly powerful and which is sent out through your dominant thoughts.
Everything throughout the universe is made up of energy. Everything, in fact, is energy, and is vibrating at a particular frequency. This is where the science of quantum physics can explain how the Law of Attraction works at a scientific level.
The Law of Attraction is one of several natural laws of the universe which all combine to help you attract everything you want to have, do, and be, in your life. The others include the Law of Gratitude, the Law of Giving, the Law of Abundance, and the Law of Conscious Creation.
So, Why Has the Law of Attraction Become Known as The Secret?
Well, the power of your thoughts to attract what you want into your life has been known for thousands of years, since the days of the ancient Egyptians and Babylonians. However, it was only the ruling classes, the great thinkers and teachers, and the educated people, who understood the Law of Attraction and who were, therefore, able to use it to their advantage.
It was in the interest of the ruling classes to make sure that the poorer classes remained ignorant of the incredible power of their own thoughts to improve their lives. The lower classes had to be kept in their place. This knowledge about the Law of Attraction was, therefore, kept secret, and not shared with the vast majority of their subjects.
This remained the case until recent years. There were books written in the early 1900s by great thinkers like Charles Haanel and Robert Collier, amongst others, about the phenomenal power of the human mind to create what you want to have, do, and be. There again, in those days, books were relatively expensive, and most of the poorer classes could not afford them, even if they were literate.
During the last few years, this Secret has exploded on to the world stage thanks to the publication of the book and DVD on The Secret. These have been followed by a growing selection of books and audio programs covering The Secret and the Law of Attraction in more detail.
The power of the internet to reach all corners of the world, means that nowadays, people of all classes and all nationalities, can have access to this Secret. Access to The Secret, need only cost a few pounds or dollars. The Law of Attraction is no longer a secret, and through the internet we can empower the world with the information that can change lives everywhere.
The Law of Attraction can be explained by quantum physics, the branch of science that studies the basic building blocks of life and everything that exists in the universe.
