Reprogram Your Subconscious Mind by Creating an Empowering Environment – Part 2

Create an Empowering Environment – Part 2

Adrian WebbYou are the product of your environment – plain and simple.  If you want to become a better person, then you need to expose yourself to a better environment.

DO Absorb Positive, Empowering Information by Reading, Listening to, and Watching Appropriate Materials Every Day

If time is an issue, and we all lead busy lives with personal, family and work commitments to fit into our day, then be ruthless and see how you can make the time you need.

“Time is not found… it is made” -  Elizabeth Fayt

Cut down on television time (see part 1), and maybe you can reduce some of the time you spend ‘playing’ or being ‘entertained’. We are talking about changing your life by investing some productive time in reprogramming your subconscious mind.

Yes, you may well have to make sacrifices, and you WILL have to work at this. You are working on YOURSELF.

Do you just want to become a better version of you, or are you COMMITTED to becomining a better version of you? There is a difference here. When you are committed, then you will do whatever it takes.

Do you commute to work, either by car, bus or train? How much time each week does this take you? Do you use this ‘down time’ productively by reading self-improvement books and manuals or listening to self-improvement audio programs and mp3s?

You will find numerous links dotted around this website recommending some excellent resources. There are reviews on specific resources I have personally used to help me transform my own life. There are even complete pages listing recommended training resources for you to consider, and they are NOT expensive.

You can invest in a powerful training resource for less than the cost of a good night out on the town. Which would serve you better?

I also suggest you become familiar with some of the great
self-improvement and personal growth teachers enjoying a worldwide reputation for being the experts in this field.

DO Associate With Positive People Who Are Enjoying Abundance in Their Own Lives and Who Raise Your Own Vibration

If you spend time soaking up the teachings of some of the top teachers in the personal development field, that’s exactly what you are doing. All these guys are self made multi-millionaires and are leading the most incredible, fulfilling, passionate and enjoyable lives. These are the kind of people you need to be listening to, or reading about.

When you want to be successful in any field, you need to find people who are already successful in that area, and learn as much as you can from them. This way, you are not trying to reinvent the wheel and you avoid making costly mistakes and wasting years of your life. With self-improvement, exactly the same advice applies.

When you think like successful, wealthy people do, and when you model their behaviour and actions, you should achieve similar results.

You should also be spending your time with family, friends, and associates who inspire and encourage you. You can choose your friends and associates, but you cannot choose your family and work colleagues.

With family and work colleagues, just be careful how much time you spend with those people who are very negative and always focussing on problems rather than opportunities. If your spouse or life partner is like this, you have a challenge. You cannot change them, you can only change yourself and hope they will change in response by observing you.

If not, and they persist in holding you back and always raining on your parade, then you need to question if that relationship should continue. Sorry for being blunt here, but we are talking about your life. Negative people suck all the positive energy out of you and leave you drained. That’s not what you want.

When you spend your time with people who constantly encourage and inspire you, you become unstoppable.

Did you know that extensive research has concluded that the income of any individual is very similar to the average income of the FIVE people they most associate with! Does this give you cause for thought? Who are the FIVE people you most associate with, outside of your family? Maybe you need to let some friends go and find new ones! That’s your decision. I did say it would not be easy! Simple solution, yes, but not easy.

“You become the average of the five closest people to you”

- Jim Rohn

Here is The Result of Creating an Empowering Environment

Over a period of time you will find your subconscious mind is being reprogrammed with positive empowering messages which will dramatically change, for the better, the way you see the world, your place in it, and what you believe and know you can achieve.

The proof of this will be the results you get in your physical world.
