5 Step Manifestation Process – How to Attract What You Want – Part 1

Adrian WebbThis is the first of two posts describing a five-step strategy to help you attract what you want to have, do, and be, and live a life of abundance.

Step 1 – Know What You Want

Most people do not get what they want because they do not know, specifically, what they want. They might have a general idea, or they may have not given it much thought.

You are never clearer about what you want than when you are getting what you don’t want.

Decide what you want and write down your goals. These must be specific, positive, in the present tense, with no negative words. Focus on the What, Why and When, but NOT the How.

I would like to point out that you should not become obsessed with the ‘when’. It’s important to include realistic timescales in your goal setting exercise, but be open to allowing what you want to come to you later than you have intended. This places you in a state of ‘allowing’ what you want to manifest without stressing too much over it. (see step 2)

Create as complete a picture as possible of your goals. Determine your goals for different areas of your life as follows:

  • Your home environment
  • Your career, business or work environment
  • Your relationships, with others and with yourself
  • Your spiritual connections
  • Your charitable connections with individuals and organizations
  • Your financial affairs

Step 2 – Get Clear and Create a State of Allowing

You must clear out all your old limiting beliefs and become a vibrational match for what you want to manifest and the following strategies can help you achieve this state of being.

Meridian tapping

- Otherwise known as emotional freedom technique or EFT – this can help elininate limiting beliefs and other deep rooted issues that have held you back in the past.

Ho’oponopono

- This is the old Hawaiin cleaning and healing technique
where you say:  “I’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you”, silently, to yourself, as often as you can – this can clear old memories and subconscious issues that have created circumstances you don’t want in your life.

By cleaning in this way, you can get yourself nearer to ‘zero’ when you are in an enlightened state and you are more open to receiving inspiration from the Divine.

Forgive yourself and forgive others

- This raises your vibration and puts your body in a highly energised state, making you more magnetic and more likely to attract what you want into your life.

Love yourself and love others

- This raises your vibration which puts your body in a highly energised state, making you more magnetic and more likely to attract what you want into your life.

Feel good and be happy now, in this moment

- There is nothing more important than feeling good or happy, when working in partnership with the Law of Attraction, because, as above, you become more magnetic as you are in a highly energised state.

Eliminate all doubt

- You must have complete and absolute faith in your ability to manifest what you want, because having doubts will cancel out your powers of creation and manifestation.

Perform random acts of kindness

- This raises your vibration which puts your body in a highly energised state, making you more magnetic and more likely to attract what you want into your life.

Give to others generously

- This raises your vibration which puts your body in a highly energised state, making you more magnetic and more likely to attract what you want into your life.

The Law of Giving states that when you give to others with no expectation of getting something in return, it will, in fact, all come back to you, multiplied and increased by the Law of Attraction, at some time in the future.

Be grateful for what you have

- This raises your vibration which puts your body in a highly energised state, making you more magnetic and more likely to attract what you want into your life.

The Law of Gratitude states that when you are grateful for what you already have, the universe is happy to give you more things to be grateful for.

Eliminate all negative input and focus on positive input

- This ensures that your subconscious mind is programmed with good positive input only, resulting in empowering thoughts, feelings and beliefs, all of which will support you in making the right decisions leading to the right actions that will help you attract what you want into your life.

Meditate daily

- This helps you to create a state of non-resistance, and a state of allowing what you want to manifest, by experiencing those brain wave states of deep meditation that create a much calmer more relaxed you.

Step 3 – Visualize With Emotion

Intentionally and consciously think about what you want

- Have a daily dream discussion with someone, when you chat about already experiencing what you want to have, do or be, including all the specific details, and describing all the emotions you are likely to feel, because this is helping you focus on what you want, and what you focus on, expands.

Practise intentional meditation, while experiencing all the appropriate emotions

- This involves taking time out to relax, close your eyes, and focus intensely on what you want by meditating and blocking out all those distracting thoughts of everyday life, while experiencing all the intense emotions you will expect to feel when you have manifested what you want. Do this daily.

Create and watch your own Mind Movies

-  By watching a mind movie for just a few minutes, preferably twice daily, and, of course, taking the right actions, you can speed up the process of getting what you want.

A mind movie is a slide presentation made up of appropriate images showing what you want to have, be, and do, in the future. Each image has its own caption, a positive affirmation or statement of intention, detailing the desired outcome, in the present tense as if it has already been achieved.

To intensify the appropriate emotions you need to feel while watching your video, suitable music of your own choice, is playing in the background.

Write about having already achieved what you want

- Write as if it has already become reality, in great detail, with lots of descriptive phrases, while describing all the feelings and emotions you are likely to be feeling.

However, do NOT include a description of HOW you are going to manifest what you want.  This is NOT for you to try and figure out for yourself because it might all happen in a way you least expect.  By not focussing on the ‘How’ you are getting out of the way, and allowing yourself to be guided by inspiration, believing you will be shown what to do and what actions to take when the time is right.

The act of writing down a description of already having manifested what you want helps you connect with your subconscious mind, the true powerhouse in your body.
